Thirteen years of professional experience. A new application of the same skills.
My career spans higher-education technology, enterprise client management, institutional data integrity, privacy and contracts, operational leadership, and AI-assisted product development.
I’ve managed institutional client portfolios, negotiated complex agreements, led teams, improved business performance, and coordinated work across technical, commercial, and operational functions.
In 2026, I brought that experience into independent research and product development, directing AI-assisted implementations and evaluations through Parallax Provenance.
The connection is straightforward: understanding complex systems, identifying what needs to improve, coordinating the work, and establishing whether the result actually solves the problem.

Parallax Provenance
Founder & Principal | May 2026–Present | Remote
Independent applied research and product development focused on AI governance, evidence integrity, institutional research systems, and operational accountability.
I direct AI-assisted development and research by framing problems, establishing requirements, coordinating implementation, reviewing evidence, commissioning independent challenges, and making decisions about what should be accepted, changed, or stopped.
The work includes three related efforts:
• Market Weather: A working market-intelligence prototype combining product development, historical replay, and governed research workflows.
• Sentinel: An experimental institutional research system with persistent evidence records, controlled authority, and enforceable workflow requirements.
• Cairn / Semantic Integrity Audit (SIA): A controlled AI evaluation investigating discrepancies between an acting system’s behavior and its own account of that behavior.
These are independent research and development projects, not commercial deployments. Their value here is the implemented work, evaluation evidence, and leadership practices they demonstrate.

2025–2026 | Family Responsibilities & Professional Development
Following the loss of my mother, I stepped away from full-time employment to serve as the sole executor of her estate in Ohio while living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Managing the legal, financial, and administrative responsibilities required six cross-country trips and sustained attention over an extended period, making a conventional job search impractical.
During this period, I remained engaged in professional development, earning my Certified ScrumMaster credential, completing HubSpot certifications, and completing three Asana certification programs, including becoming an Asana Ambassador. These efforts allowed me to stay connected to my professional fields while expanding my skills during a demanding period of family responsibility.

What connects the experience
The industries and technologies have changed, but the underlying work has remained remarkably consistent.
At Hobsons, I helped institutions understand and correct problems involving data, technology, contracts, and operational commitments.
In later roles, I managed teams, client programs, budgets, staffing, and processes where execution could be measured in customer outcomes and business performance.
Through Parallax Provenance, I apply those same disciplines to AI-assisted development and research: clear requirements, coordinated implementation, independent evaluation, and decisions supported by evidence.
I bring a combination of established business experience and practical experience directing emerging technology—not a claim that one replaces the other.
Where I can contribute
I’m seeking full-time, remote opportunities in product management, program management, AI-assisted systems, product operations, and related cross-functional leadership roles.
My experience is especially relevant to organizations working with complex data, institutional customers, operational workflows, regulated requirements, or technology that must be both useful and accountable.
